Pet urns come in a variety of sizes. All of the urns we offer specify the volume capacity of cremated remains that it will hold. The urn capacity is stated in cubic inches. As a rule of thumb, one pound of your pet's weight will equal one cubic inch of cremated remains. For example, a large dog weighing 100 pounds will require and urn 100 cubic inches in size. A small cat weighing only five pounds will require a small urn of five cubic inches. Of course, if you see an urn you like that is larger than needed, feel free to select that size.
